These Two Redmi Smartphones Get Android Pie Update

Xiaomi has brought Android Pie update in two of its smartphones. Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi 6 Pro now get the Android Pie update. Previously, the company has rolled out the beta update for these phones. Now both phones get the Android Pie update.

Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi 6 Pro now Officially get the Android Pie update

The update for the Redmi 6 Pro needs 1.6GB free space. This release includes the May 2019 security patch level. You will also get face-unlock support for App lock, the ability to stay on the lock screen after using face-unlock and to restrict the opening of the notification shade on the lock screen. Moreover, the update will also remove the bugs.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 5 Pro also needs 1.6GB free space for this update. Moreover, it also includes the May 2019 security patch level. Moreover, the update will currently roll out in India. However, we hope it will soon be available in Pakistan as well.

If we talk about the specs of these smartphones, Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is the first device of Redmi series, which comes with a notch. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC. It has a 5.84-inch display with 2280×1080 pixel resolution (aspect ratio of 19:9). If we compare the specs and features of these both devices then these both are mid-range devices and specs are similar to each other. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has 20MP front selfie camera while Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro has just a 5MP selfie camera. Except, selfie camera both devices have very similar features.
