Redmi Confirms Snapdragon 665 for Note 8

Redmi is all ready to launch Note 8 phones on August 29. As we are getting closer to the launch ceremony, we are getting more updates about the devices. However now, the company executives tease another bit of specifications about the upcoming Note 8 and Note 8 Pro.

Redmi Note 8 Pro will be one of the first devices with the Mediatek Helio G90T chipset

The company’s brand manager Lu Weibing announced on Weibo that Redmi Note 8 will have Snapdragon 665. On the other hand, Note 8 Pro will be one of the first devices with the Mediatek Helio G90T chipset.

As far as the specs of the Note 8 Pro are concerned, it will feature an AMOLED display with the resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 403 ppi pixel density. For photography lovers, it will have a 25 MP Front Camera. Whereas, at the back of the device we will see a 64MP + 5MP + 2MP cameras. Furthermore, the phone will feature a powerful 4000 mAh battery.

At this time, we are not sure about the pricing and availability yet. The phones will go official on August 29. We will get exact information about the specs and pricing then. Till then stay tuned for more updates.
