Redmi Confirms a Gaming Phone with Helio G90T

Mediatek has unveiled its gaming chipset, called Helio G90 and Helio G90T yesterday. Later, the brand director of Redmi, Lu Weibing, confirmed on Weibo that it will launch a gaming phone with the Helio G90T and it will be available globally.

As there is not much information revealed about the device. But we hope that it will soon be available and we will get reliable information about the phone very soon. But, by looking at the recently announced chipsets, we can say that the phone will have a performance CPU cluster of two Cortex-A76 units and six Cortex-A55 cores. Furthermore, both clusters will be coupled by the Mali-G76 GPU. Whereas, the whole system is built on the 12nm FinFET process. The system will have the overall clocking speed of up to 2.05 GHz. Furthermore, the G90T will support up to 10 GB RAM.

As it is quite obvious that the chips are for gaming phones, Redmi will also launch a gaming phone. There are also other sub-brands gaming phones including Black shark, Nubia and iQOO. Whereas, it seems like the company is working beat the gaming companies like ROG Phone II and the nubia Red Magic 3.
