Redmi Note 17 Series Clears Key Certification; Expected Price and Release Timeline in Pakistan

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 17 series has moved closer to an international launch after the Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max reportedly received NBTC certification in Thailand.

The standard Redmi Note 17 appeared with model number 26081RA18G, while the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max was listed as 2609FRA74G. The “G” suffix is generally associated with Xiaomi smartphones intended for global markets.

The certification suggests that Xiaomi is preparing both models for release outside China, although the company has not yet confirmed their official launch dates or complete specifications.

Reports indicate that the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max could feature a seven-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. It is also expected to offer a 200MP main camera, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 9,210mAh battery with possible 100W fast charging.

The standard Redmi Note 17 is tipped to feature a seven-inch 120Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, a 50MP primary camera, and an 8MP front camera. Its global version could carry a 7,700mAh battery with 45W charging support.

These specifications are based on leaks and certification reports and remain subject to change until officially confirmed by Xiaomi.

Expected Price and Release Timeline in Pakistan

Xiaomi has not officially announced the Redmi Note 17 series for Pakistan. However, the standard Redmi Note 17 could make its global debut in August 2026, while the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max may follow in September.

The series could reach Pakistan during the final quarter of 2026, depending on Xiaomi’s regional launch strategy, regulatory approvals, and product availability.

The Redmi Note 17 is expected to be priced between Rs 80,000 and Rs 95,000 in Pakistan. The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max could cost between Rs 145,000 and Rs 175,000.

These are unofficial estimates. Final prices may vary depending on RAM and storage variants, exchange rates, government taxes, and Xiaomi Pakistan’s local pricing strategy.
