The recently launched Rivo Mobile company has released Rivo Phantom PZ8 after its opening ceremony on 15th of february 2015. The Rivo Phantom PZ8 Review is all about the speed, memory, hardness, softness, vulnerabilities and bench mark testing of this device. The device consists of 1 GB Ram and 8 Gb Rom which has extending capability of upto 32GB with a micro SD Card. Embedded with a Qualcomm snapdragon Quad-core processor, the logo of snapdragon well suits over the background image of Rivo Phantom PZ8. The well polished and smooth surface of the back cover with no cutting edges and a slight curve of the overall body of Rivo Phantom PZ8 gives a sensational touch to the hands. With 12MP rear camera and 5MP camera at the front and total of 14500/= guarantees affordable and convenient price to the customers. Interface Experience:

The logo of Qualcomm Snapdragon on the wallpaper denotes the Quad-core snapdragon processor that can handle many tasks running smoothly at the same time with no utteration. The orange colored R-icon at the desktop shows the Rivo’s built in apps that consists of world prayer, masnoon duas, BBM(Black berry messenger), social media containing Facebook, Skype, Twitter, WeChat and many more. The interfaces for both text and dial pad are used the typical ones with light bluish back end color.

 

 

Bench Marking Tools:

A device is tested to its level best, once it is bench marked with some standard applications that goes through all the chips and parts of a smartphone and checks all of its modules and gives it marks according to its ability and then at the end, bench marks it. The three main apps that we have used here are Antutu(checks all the modules in a glance), Vellamo(checks the performance of single core, multi core and browser in particular) and GFX bench (for checking the performance of the GPU or Graphical Processing Unit).

Antutu:

Antutu is a bench marking application that checks for the overall performance of the device, checks for the model number, camera, processor, ram, and much more in detail and at the end bench marks it so that one may know about the device he/she is holding in his hand.

The points obtained by our device here are given in the snaps below with 15577 points that proves that the device has a Quad core processor in real and has the ability to perform well in multi-tasking and multi-threading processes.

 

Vellamo:

Vellamo is a Qualcomm’s own product which is a series of tests designed to evaluate which Android devices deliver the best mobile experiences. The results are shown below in the snapshots.

Pros:

1. Affordable
2. 2000 mAh battery for longer duration and still have a light weight.
3. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Processor with Quadcore’s speed.

 

Cons:

1. Heavy operations take the CPU to halt mode.
2. Better games with high quality graphics are not supported.

 

CONCLUSION:

At the end, we can just say that Rivo Phantom PZ10 with a price of 13,500/= is at its level best having 1GB Ram and a Quad-Core processor chip being fixed inside with a smart and cool look.
