Rohayl Varind, A Pakistani Wins World Summit Youth Award

World Summit Youth Award is the world’s biggest conference for Youth with 138 countries which participate in it. Varind was among those 18 students whose projects were chosen for the award from an overwhelming 1,898 submissions reviewed by 40 jurors. A 19 year old Rohayl Varind, Pakistani wins World Summit Youth Award.

Rohayl, won in the category “Pursue Truth” for this project which is called Voice of R. This is an online forum which is wholly solely dedicated to Pakistanis especially Pakistani Youth to motivate them to be active in the society to have an eye over the on goings around the globe. So that all these youngsters can join hands to make some change in society by their attitudes in the society. This forum leads to positivity because of its engagement of people in discussions on different topics. this also promotes local talent and events that are organized locally.

The World Summit Youth award (WSYA) is a unique and quite exceptional competition which brings Youth from all over the world together with their innovations and creations. Young developers and IT people are also welcomed by this Summit. They allow people under the age of 30 to enter the competition and prove their skills by using internet to enhance and prove their positivity and good skills for a good cause.

Rohayl’s work doesn’t end here but he still continues to work for making Pakistan positive by using his forum and brings people closer for betterment of society via internet.

Other than this, Federal minister of Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal also appreciated his efforts and offered him the services of planning commission for his project Voice of R.
