Two Samsung smartphones have been spotted on TENAA recently. These devices are named as Samsung A8 Lite & A8 Star. The model number of  Samsung A8 Lite is SM-G8750 and Samsung A8 Star is SM-G8850.

These devices have been listed on 3C Certification website of China. The new listing did not provide any information about the specification and features of Samsung A8 Lite & A8 Star, but it has revealed some details about the device’s charging capabilities.

Samsung A8 Lite & A8 Star will Come with 15W Charging

Both the handsets, Samsung A8 Lite & A8 Star will come with fast charging 9.0V output at 1.67A (15W) and standard charging 5.0V at 2.0A (10W).

3C certification did not say anything about the launch date of the upcoming smartphones. However, 5gmobilephone has reported that these handsets will be launched on 21 May in China.

The rumors of Samsung A8 Lite & A8 Star have been surfaced on internet from last few week, but interestingly some leaked sources revealed that the SM-G8750 and SM-8850 are the model numbers for Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini. Some other reports have also suggested that these model numbers could be for Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite smartphone.

According to previous TENAA listing, the Samsung A8 Star (SM-G8850) will come with Snapdragon 660 processor, Adreno 512 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The benchmarking website revealed that the device will have Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, 5.8-inch display and a 3000mAh battery. It will have a fingerprint scanner. The device is expected to appear in Black and Blue colors.

The Samsung S8 Lite is expected to come Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a 3,000mAh battery, 12MP rear camera and Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.

Let’s see that whether or not, we will get these specs in Samsung A8 Lite & A8 Star at the time of launch.
