Samsung Galaxy A08 Launches With 6,000mAh Battery & One UI 9; Expected Price and Release Timeline in Pakistan

Samsung Galaxy A08 launches with a 6,000mAh battery, Android 17, and extended updates; Pakistan pricing and availability remain unconfirmed.

Samsung has quietly introduced the Galaxy A08, an entry-level smartphone featuring a larger 6,000 mAh battery, Android 17 with One UI 9, and extended software support.

The device has appeared on Samsung’s regional websites in Serbia and Bosnia, revealing its specifications ahead of a wider market rollout. While the Galaxy A08 retains much of its predecessor’s design, it brings improvements in battery capacity and software longevity.

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch PLS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It retains a waterdrop-style notch and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

One of its main upgrades is the 6,000mAh battery, up from the 5,000mAh capacity of the Galaxy A07 4G. Charging remains limited to 25W.

For photography, the Galaxy A08 offers a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Other features include a microSD card slot, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and 4G LTE connectivity.

The device runs Android 17 with One UI 9 and is expected to receive up to six major operating system upgrades and six years of security updates.

Samsung has not explicitly identified the chipset in its regional specifications, although reports suggest the device could feature MediaTek’s Helio G99 processor. This detail remains unconfirmed.

Samsung Galaxy A08 Expected Price and Release Date in Pakistan

Samsung has yet to announce the Galaxy A08’s official price or release date in Pakistan.

Based on its early international pricing and positioning in the Galaxy A series, the smartphone could arrive in Pakistan at approximately Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000. This is a preliminary estimate rather than an official price.

The device is expected to reach the Pakistani market in the coming weeks, potentially during October 2026, although Samsung has not confirmed a launch schedule.
