Samsung is hitting the market in 2017 by introducing its A series devices. Today we will look at the latest device of A series which is next version of Samsung Galaxy A3(2017). The device which we are going to discuss today is IP68 certified which means it is dust proof and water resistant over 1.5 meter and 30 minutes. “Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)“, is latest machine of Samsung which recently came into market and its price in Pakistan is PKR.47,000/-. Let’s see the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) Review in detail.

Samsung Galaxy A5(2017) is 5.2 inches device with super AMOLED touch screen that supports the resolutions of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is 4G supported device furthermore the system has Octa-core 1.9 GHz processor. ROM is 32GB and RAM is 3GB while powerhouse has 3000 mAh fixed battery. Dual SIM options are supportive with dual stand-by. Both camera lenses have 16MP lens for its back and front camera. Galaxy A5(2017) is equipped with fingerprint scanner and barometer.

Samsung Galaxy A5(2017) is 5.2 inches device with the supportive resolutions of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The pixel density is 480 dpi for the clear visibility of icons and texts. The screen to body ratio is almost 71% further these dpi are used for better display and photography. Multi-touch is average in Samsung Galaxy J5(2017) because it has got only 5 points in it.

It is covered with Corning Gorilla glass which will protect it from scratches and dust. The graphic processing unit (GPU) in Samsung J5 is Mali-T830MP2 that provides the best performance in graphics by increasing performance density up to 40% as compare to other mali units.

The display of Samsung J5(2017) has soft display which impacts a very soothing effect on eyes. It doesn’t have that prick display like other smartphones. Icons and texts have clear visibility moreover it doesn’t have any blurry icon.

The Samsung A5(2017) is super stylish and light weight device, you can easily carry it anywhere without any hustle. The dimensions are 146.1 x 71.4 x 7.9 mm and weight is only 157 grams. Samsung always provide stylish and sleek devices for their users.

First part in design section is front body which has 5.2 inches screen. Function keys are present at the bottom side which has home button, back button and application manager button. Bezel layer of same body color has covered the screen from every corner of it which is not prominent at all. It doesn’t have LED notification light which is a set back point for Samsung Galaxy A5(2017).

Next part is the edges of Samsung A5(2017) which is covered with connectivity ports. Upper body has SIM jacket for SIM 2 and microSD card whereas right edge has only power button. Left edge has separate volume keys with another SIM jacket for SIM 1. We have 3.5 mm audio jack at down side with type C 1.0 reversible connector for charging and transferring data.

Back body of Samsung A5(2017) is totally plain and simple with metal body. It has 13MP lens with LED flash light at the top side while below it we have name display of Samsung. The design look is little bit similar with IPhone 7 because of its sleek and slim shape.

Samsung A5 (2017) has 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM further we can expand its internal memory up to 256GB with the access of memory card. 32GB is far enough for normal usage but if you are applications and videos freak than you have to insert memory card otherwise it is totally worth it.

We have taken some images from back camera of Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017). The results are very satisfactory and saturation is very well used. Intake of pictures and brightness have very good response. Excessive usage of data networks like 4G/3G drain the battery quickly otherwise it has very good battery timings. The best part is Samsung A5(2017) has very good battery and still it is very weight.

Samsung Galaxy A5(2017) has 5.2 inches screen that runs android version 6.0 (Marshmallow). We have not received any update regarding nougat version in it. It has clear visibility of icons and texts because of its super AMOLED screen. The lock screen has an all-time appearing wallpaper that shows the date, time and battery percentage.

The main screen has Google search bar placed slightly above the center of the screen. The main screen has 2 columns consisting of 5 icons on the upper column and 4 icons on the lower column which are set by default. The home screen has the same number of rows and columns 5 icons in each row and column.

Many bloatware applications are already installed in it such as Samsung has its own so many applications such as s heath, s voice, samsung members and many others. Application manager has search bar on its top side via which we can directly search any application and access it. Flippy campus, galaxy gift Africa and Promolante are also already installed in it.

Processor of Samsung A5 (2017):

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has Octa-core 1.9 GHz processor which is based on the structure of ARM Cortex-A53 and it is 64 bit type processor. It has chip set of exynos 7880 which is designed specially for mid-range smartphones to enhance its performance and power efficiency.

We have not observed any kind of delays and lags while doing multi-tasking in it. Samsung always provide fast processing in android market as compare to all other companies that’s why it has first rank in android category.
