Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) Gets Android Pie Update

As we all know that Samsung is bringing Android 9 Pie update to many of its devices.  Just recently, Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus start getting Android Pie update. Just recently, the Wi-Fi Alliance certified these three smartphones for Android 9 Pie. It means the three smartphones of Samsung’s 2018 A series will soon get the Android 9 Pie. Now Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) gets Android Pie update.

Samsung Galaxy A8+ Android Pie Update will be available in Other markets very Soon

The update is currently available in Russia only. We are not sure when this update will be available in other markets as well.  So, if don’t get an update notification in a week or two, you can check for it manually by selecting Settings > Software update menu. The update is also available through Samsung Smart Switch.

According to Google, Android Pie offers support for the latest edge-to-edge screens with a cut-out for the camera and speaker. Another major feature is App Actions, that insert quick actions based on your activities within the app launcher at certain times of the day. Android Pie also brings new system navigation.

Many different companies have announced to bring the latest Android Pie update to many of their devices. Recently, Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, and HTC have announced to bring the Android Pie update in its smartphones. Sony has also brought Android Pie Update in its smartphones. But LG is quite slow in this race.
