Samsung is continuously bringing updates to its smart devices. The company has launched the Galaxy M51 last year. Now, Samsung Galaxy M51 is Receiving One UI 3.1 Update based on Android 11.
At the time of launch, the phone run Android 10 with One UI 2.x. Starting today, owners of this phone are now able to update their phone to One UI 3.1, based on Android 11. That’s the latest version of both Google’s underlying OS, but also Samsung’s skin. However, this is the “core” One UI 3.1 experience, meant for lower-end phones. It means that the phone will not get flagship-like features.

The update will also get March 2021 security patches. The new build is currently rolling out in Russia, labelled as M515FXXU2CUB7. It may take a few days for it to reach all units. If you do not get the notification of the update. You can check it manually. For this, go to Settings > Software update and try your luck at manually getting it. The update will be available in other markets very soon. However, there is no specific date announced by the company.
If we talk about the specs of the phone, it has a bigger 6.7″ Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. Moreover, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 730. It has 6 GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone comes with a quad-camera setup at the back. The back camera setup includes a 64 main camera, a 12MP ultrawide one with a 123-degree field of view and a 5MP macro shooter. The fourth one is the 5MP depth sensor. Moreover, the phone has a 32MP front camera.
