Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Started Getting Android Oreo Update

Many time Samsung announced that it will bring oreo update for S7 and S7 edge, however, the update was not rolled out for these devices. Previously, Samsung Turkey and other familiar sources gave different dates for Oreo update however they were not meet. Now when the Android P is around the corner, finally Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have started getting Android Oreo Update in some countries. They will be available globally too.

Android Oreo is starting to roll out to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge

It has the latest iteration of Samsung’s customized user interface named Samsung Experience 9.0. As the update on Galaxy S7 and S7 edge is arriving via OTA so everyone will get a notification on receiving an update.

Right now, it seems like the rollout is starting just in this one region, but like with the S8, this probably means the full global rollout isn’t far off. Samsung previously said that the full rollout would start in mid-May, so more than likely we’re just a week or two off from seeing more countries getting this same Oreo update.
