Android Oreo was released in August 2017 however the tech giant Samsung got many months to begin an official beta program for the update. Samsung Galaxy S7 Receives Android Oreo ROM with Samsung Experience 9.0.

The beta program was made available to users of Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ and unofficially available on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. However some users are very lucky as they received Android Oreo update on their Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

Many people thought the this news is fake and many people argued that why Samsung will roll out Oreo update to Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge before rolling it out to its flagship models that are Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+/Note8? But the time has proved that the news was not fake.

XDA Senior Member Kill-Switch posted a system and kernel dump from this alleged leaked S7 Edge Oreo build.  This ROM is based on the leaked firmware, and it brings Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience 9.0 to the Galaxy S7 Edge.

If you are lucky to own Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Exynos model, You can upgrade unofficially to Android Oreo now because of yhis ROM.
