Samsung Launches Budget Friendly Galaxy Xcover 4

Do you remember Samsung Xcover series? Samsung took 2 years to launch the successor of Xcover 3, which was launched back in 2015. Now Samsung Launches Budget Friendly Galaxy Xcover 4. This phone has not extraordinary specifications but it has IP68 rating and is the super rugged smartphone.

As per its specifications are concerned, Galaxy Xcover 4 has a 4.99-inch TFT HD display. No doubt, this display is lesser but far better than its predecessor. Moreover, The rear camera is now 13 megapixels. Whereas its predecessor has only 5-megapixel shooter. Xcover 4 has a 5-megapixel front selfie-shooter. The battery also has increased from 2,200 mAh to 2,800 mAh. The phone is powered by a 1.4 Ghz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

Moreover, the internal storage is now 16GB instead of 8GB. You can also expand the storage via a dedicated microSD card slot. Rather surprisingly, the phone will run Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box.

The Galaxy Xcover 4 now has the IP68 rating. All Samsung’s new flagships and even mid-rangers are now certified as such. Moreover, the US military standard MIL-STD 810G has guaranteed its toughness. This standard guarantees that phone can withstand extreme temperatures, intense solar radiation, salt and dust, harsh weather conditions as well as mechanical shocks and vibrations. If you are prone to dropping your phone a lot, this may be the phone for you.

The Galaxy Xcover 4 will go on sale in Europe for €259 starting this April. However, it is still unclear whether this phone will launch in other markets or not.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has recently announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and the Samsung Galaxy Book, stylishly designed tablets with advanced computing technology offering a premium mobile experience.

The Galaxy Tab S3 comes with a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display and the Galaxy Book is offered in a 10.6-inch TFT LCD version and 12-inch Super AMOLED version.
