The new Internet Browser from Samsung features protected browsing and various interface improvements. The interface improvement includes “Add to home screen” icon for web apps, and a reader mode for news articles. Furthermore, tab switching has been optimized. Moreover, it is now more efficient on low-end devices with 1 GB of RAM or less.
The latest update uses an upgraded engine – Chromium M59. There are content blocker improvements also. Like, users can now install content blockers within the browser itself. However, that ability is only available to Samsung tablets and smartphones because it depends on the Samsung Galaxy Apps store for its quick-install feature.
Currently, these features are available for beta users of Samsung Internet Browser. Soon, it will be available for all. More interesting thing about this browser is that, you don’t need to have a Samsung smartphone. People can use this browser on any android phone. All the Android phones running Android 5.0 or later can use this browser.
