Samsung Keyboard For Android Updated With Floating Mode
We all know that Google keeps on introducing new features to its Gboard Keyboard. A few weeks back, a new feature was introduced in an update. The latest Gboard Beta update has brought a transparent floating keyboard that allows you to place Keyboard anywhere on the Screen. Similarly, Samsung is also bringing this feature to its Android Keyboard App. Samsung Keyboard For Android will also feature the floating mode now.
Samsung Keyboard For Android Is Getting A Floating Mode
The people working at XDA Developers identified the change. Recently, Android Pie beta builds for Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ and Galaxy Note 9 got leaked. They noticed a new version of Samsung Keyboard in one of the leaks. The new version has an option of floating mode.
The floating mode allows users to move the keyboard anywhere on the screen. Furthermore, it may have an option to resize the keyboard. The option of floating mode can easily be found in the settings menu. It is quite clear from the above-shared screenshot that the floating mode option resides with two other options like Standard keyboard and One-handed keyboard. However, this feature is not available for all the devices until you install the leaked Android Beta builds.
There are still no words about its official roll out. However, it is expected that this new version of Samsung keyboard will come along with the first Android 9 Pie update. Hopefully, people will not have to wait too long in order to get this feature on their Android Phones.
