There were many rumours regarding the launch date of Galaxy Note 9. Finally, Samsung released Galaxy Note 9 Teaser and revealed its official launch date. The August 9th date was rumoured by Bloomberg earlier this month, and as the Note 9 recently cleared the FCC, so a launch event was likely to happen sooner or later.
Samsung announces Galaxy Note 9 Teaser, Launch event on August 9th
The Galaxy Note 9 teaser is a 20-second video in which we can see a Samsung Note 9 with slow pans over the stylus that just looks like Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Due to rumours and leaks, we had a clear idea of how the device will look like but the stylus is something new. The device is yellow-gold in colour which seems to be a better option than the orchid grey of Galaxy Note 8 and coral blue of short-lived Note 7.
Here is the official Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Teaser:
The Galaxy Note 9 is expected to have a bigger display, a larger 4000 mAh battery, an increase in RAM, a step up in storage, and potentially an improved forward facing camera.
However, when it comes to the Note 9’s long-rumored in-display fingerprint reader, things aren’t quite as clear. Earlier this spring, a patent filing discovered by 91 Mobiles made it seem like the Note 9 would have a fingerprint reader built into the phone’s display
It seems Samsung has seen some advantage in bringing the launch date forward to early August. It is evident the retail release of the device will be around late August.
