Samsung to Launch Pirates of the Caribbean Themed S8 Special Edition

After the infamous Note 7, Samsung is striving hard to regain its position in market. Galaxy S8 was an unexpectedly huge success. Samsung has a reputation of delivering amazing flagship devices. Samsung to Launch Pirates of the Caribbean Themed S8 Special Edition

After huge success of Samsung S8, the South Korean giant has introduced special edition of S8 for Jack Sparrow fans. Pirates of the Caribbean Special Edition S8 is black in color and comes in a special treasure chest box. This box includes a protective case and special holder which goes exactly with the theme.

The phone is actually standard Galaxy S8 phone equipped with the special edition content accessed via the smart clip on case. When you put on the case on S8, the phone UI will be changes to a Pirates-themed layout complete.

According to  Business Insider, the special edition S8 is exclusively offered in China. It can be purchased from JD.com and priced at around $880.

It has a new background featuring Jack Sparrow and custom app icons. When Samsung S8 is switched on, you will see a Dead Men Tell No Tales theme already installed.

Other than the Pirates-inspired visuals, the device doesn’t have any major changes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
