Samsung to Replace Galaxy Note 7 with New Unit on September 19

Samsung has revealed details about the Galaxy Note 7 Exchange Programme. Samsung to Replace Galaxy Note 7 with New Unit on September 19. Currently, this Exchange programme is only for UK customers. As Samsung has announced to replace Galaxy Note 7, starting from 19th September. Soon Samsung will replace its Note 7 in other countries as well.

Samsung to Replace Galaxy Note 7 with New Unit on September 19

Samsung said in a statement:

For UK customers who have Galaxy Note7 devices, Samsung in collaboration with its partners and operators, will voluntarily replace their current device with a new one. UK customers who have Galaxy Note7 devices will be contacted by the provider or operator from which they purchased the product in order to arrange their device exchange. The exchange of units will begin from 19 September 2016

There is also a good news for those who have pre-ordered the Galaxy Note 7. For those customers Samsung said:

“If you have pre-ordered your Galaxy Note7 and you are waiting for delivery: we apologise that you have not received your new Galaxy Note7. We have been working with our partners to supply a replacement device to you. We will have a new Galaxy Note7 on the way to you as soon as possible.”

Samsung also confirmed that other Galaxy smartphones are not affected by the battery issue. Samsung take this step because of the Apple’s iPhone 7 launch this month. Let’s hope that updated Galaxy Note 7 will not have the battery issue again.
