Lee Jae-yong has been found guilty of bribery, perjury, embezzlement, and other charges, in the conclusion of a six-month trial.

He is also accused of the charges that he wrongfully transferred some valuable assets to the overseas while hiding the proceeds of a crime.
“I have never asked anyone, including the president, for anything for the company or my personal gain. I deeply regret that I have given such disappointment and apologize.””
Said Lee in a final statement
Lee was also found guilty of concealing criminal profits and hiding assets overseas; his lawyers said today that they reject the verdict and will appeal immediately.
