Strategy Analytics has predicted that the market share of Samsung will drop to 19.2% from 20.5% globally in 2018. This year went best for Samsung with the release of Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus, and Galaxy Note 8 smartphones, which are among the best on Market. Samsung’s Market Share to Drop in 2018: Strategic Analytics.

Samsung got very positive response in global market when it released flagship devices. But despite of it Samsung’s market share will decrease in 2018. And let’s suppose the prediction of Strategy Analytics come true then it means that there will  shipment of 315 million units worldwide.

Samsung will face tougher challenges, and that’s because of the new emerging Chinese brands like Huawei, Xiaomi, and OPPO. Samsung will not only facing challenges in flagship devices but in mid-tier and budget devices as well.

Samsung to Lose Global Market Share to Chinese Rivals in 2018

Chinese brands are producing smartphones with such a best quality and software experience, but the price of these smartphones are very low as compared to the Samsung. And when we observe the specs, so we find all that in these Chinese smartphones which are offering by high end smartphones.

This is one of the reasons that huge mass is now tilted towards these brands, because they are getting everything in these Chinese Smartphones but at affordable price.

Good smartphones are getting cheaper which in return compelling companies to build inexpensive devices that might not be as powerful as a flagship, but can be close to them.
