Snapchat Beta Version to Come in Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati & Urdu Languages

SnapChat tries to reach more users and keep them more entertained. This photo-messaging app has now rolled out a beta test version in eight new languages. According to the media report, SnapChat Beta Version include Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu, Malay, Vietnamese, and Filipino languages. Snapchat is encouraging users to switch to any of them if they are fluent.

Snap Inc.’s CEO Evan Spiegel snubbed “poor countries like India in 2017, that indicates that his company was not interested in expanding Snapchat’s growth there. However, Spiegel also denies the statement that went viral that Snapchat has always been an app looking for growth among iOS audiences. He also showed his focus on Android devices too.

Web portal Social Media Today quoted Snapchat as saying on the beta description:

“This is our first Beta containing eight new languages! If you’re fluent in any languages listed below, try changing your device language to check them out,”

Snapchat contracted the previous head of news organizations and government for Twitter India, Raheel Khursheed in 2018, as its first official to head activities in the nation. In February, the SnapChat asserted that it had included 186 million day by day users in the last three months of 2018, finishing a dash of two back to back quarters of declining users.
