To get new frames you need to double tap to reply to the Snap from a friend. The filters changes automatically throughout the day which relies on factors like when you became friends or the time of day. It means now we will be able to see Good Morning in the day and Food Night in the evening. Snapchat has also rolled out special birthday filter to give surprise a friend on birthday.

The filters will be personalized for each friend you Snap with. Your bitmoji will only appear if you have linked it to Snapchat.

These filters are designed for close friends who exchange a lot of Snaps. Also these filters can be exchanged between any friends who snap each other.
