SnapChat Now Allows Users to Send Musical GIFs

For the entertainment of the users, Snapchat is adding more bells and whistles with the coordination of TuneMoji. TuneMoji is a Music GIF provider and now it has announced that it is integrated within Snapchat. Snap has also confirmed the partnership and now users will be able to post musical GIFs to a chat or to their own Story.

Users will need to download both TuneMoji and Snapchat in order to send musical GIFs. TuneMoji works a little like Giphy, it adds a layer of music (or spoken audio) that is looped along with the GIF. Users can set GIF to different songs and sounds, all of which are licensed. Users can then select a messaging app to share musical GIF on, including Snapchat.

Now Users can Send Musical GIFs to SnapChat

TuneMoji CEO James Fabricant said:

The firm was working on closer integrations with all its messaging partners, which also include Instagram and WhatsApp.

TuneMoji was able to integrate into Snapchat via new developer kit, Snap Kit, which was launched in June. Developers are able to bring core features of Snapchat to their apps via Snap Kit. However there are limitations, users can’t open up Snapchat and then send musical GIFs from inside the app. Users have to push these musical GIFs to Snapchat from within the TuneMoji app.
