Short Daily Shows With AR Enabled Scenes "Snapchat's Snap Originals" Released

We all know that Snapchat is one of the most popular social networks. It keeps on trying new things to engage its users. Recently, we came to know that the Social network, Snapchat has introduced Snapchat’s Snap Originals that are actually the short daily shows for its users.

Recently,  three new shows came to Snapchat. However, there will be more to follow in the upcoming months. The first one is the “Class of Lies” that follows a couple of college students and roommates hosting a true-crime podcast. In addition to that, they are also trying to solve the mystery of the disappearance of their best friend.

The second one is the “Co-Ed” that shows college life. It shows a group of freshmen experiencing a more light-hearted version of college life.

The third one “Endless Summer” is a bit different, called a “docuseries”, gives us a glimpse of the lives of Summer McKeen and Dylan Jordan who are popular YouTubers.

These shows will be released daily in a bite-sized format of 5 minutes per episode. There’ll be a section for each show on the Discover page. According to Snapchat, the episodes will be structured as regular shows. Moreover, it won’t feel as if one episode was cut into pieces.
The interesting part os that, the producers are adding Augmented Reality elements to the series using “Show portals” to make the shows more engaging. The viewers will be able to enter certain scenes and look around using their phones. The shows will come with new Snapchat Filters, Lenses and other themed features.
