This processor is aimed not at niche enthusiasts but at regular users, businesses, and students who buy laptops in large numbers.

The Snapdragon X2 Plus was unveiled at CES 2026 and sits in the middle of Qualcomm’s new chip lineup. It is designed for thin-and-light laptops that balance performance, battery life, and price. Early hands-on testing with pre-production devices shows that Qualcomm’s performance claims are realistic, which helps build trust with manufacturers and buyers alike.
