Social Media Mourns the Peshawar Attack on APS

BLACK display pictures on all over social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc), are louder than words!

As the news of the deadliest attack in the history of Pakistan spread on news channels, Government of Pakistan announced a three-day mourn and that the Pakistani flag on all official buildings will be lowered. While on the other side, people from different parts of the world turned their display pictures into black to condemn and mourn the tragedy.

Many lost the loved ones in this brutal attack and the whole country is covered with the dark clouds of depression. This event has shaken not only Pakistan, but all the countries in the world. The trend #IndiaWithPakistan trended shortly after the incident to show their support and concern for the families of the victims.

Facebook and Twitter user are contributing by calling for blood donations on the micro blogging site to save the injured. Many of them are Retweeting & Sharing telephone numbers of the hospitals in Peshawar and urging locals to go and donate blood.

Tehreek-e-Taliban spokesman Muhammad Umar Khorasani told a foreign news agency his group was responsible for the attack. He said that it’s a revenge attack for the army offensive in North Waziristan, referring to Zarb-e-azb that began in June.
