Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium will be Launched July 20 for $999.99

Sony had unveiled the Xperia XZ2 Premium with a bang, however, had not revealed its pricing and the release date. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a flagship device and very costly.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium-Royal Flagship Device

Today the company has announced the both of those details. The unlocked Xperia XZ2 Premium will cost $999.99 and will become available in US market on July 30. Pre-order will go live on Amazon and those who will order it from there will get a free pair of Xperia ear Duo Wireless headphones. However other countries will have to wait longer.

It is evident that XZ2 Premium is an extremely expensive device and is said to compete with Apple’s iPhone X. It is a high-end device, as Sony has still incorporated bezel trend that is very famous in mobile market this year. The XZ2 Premium has a 5.8-inch 4K HDR display which is very unique.

Inside the heavy 236g case you can find the Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, and a 3,540 mAh battery. The handset has a 19 MP main camera sensor on the back with f/1.8 aperture and 1.22µm pixels, as well as a secondary 12 MP black and white sensor (f/1.6, 1.55µm pixels). On the front, you get a single 13 MP snapper for selfies. The XZ2 Premium runs Android 8.0 Oreo.

Rumours had suggested that Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium will be available in two colours. However, according to a new report, Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium will also be available in a third colour, which will be Chrome Gold.

Pictures of Chrome Gold Xperia XZ2 Premium were also leaked online, but the image doesn’t come through an official source. If that would be the colour or the device, it is royal and no doubt the best ever colour I have ever seen.
