The popularity of Instagram is increasing among the users not just because of its interesting and amazing features but also because of the innovations the platform is introducing day by day. Recently, it has been spotted that Instagram is testing a selector wheel format to display filter options for ‘Stories’ on its platform. However, the photo-messaging app has not said anything about this new feature yet.

Instagram Wheel Layout for Stories is on its Way

The reverse engineer Jane Manchun Wong was the first one who spotted a semi-circular wheel of options. Wong also highlighted that the test feature reduced the eight camera options to three.

Wong tweeted:

“Instagram is working on new ‘Stories’ user-interface, inspired from mechanical circular mode switcher in DSLRs. Tabs reduced to just ‘Live’, ‘Normal’ and ‘Create’,”

According to the report:

“The new flow will mean that users may need to scroll around several times during their creation process to add all the effects, but the rounded selector does make it a little easier to do so, and looks like a helpful addition,”
