SoundCloud Achieved a Major Milestone-Hits 200 Million Soundtracks
People who love music would know how it feels to find almost each and every track on soundCloud. Just recently SoundCloud has hit a new milestone as it has now more than 200 million tracks. The “EyeRing” track of Artist Francesca Lombardo acquired the position of 200 millionth track that is uploaded to this music listening service.
The audio song streaming platform celebrated this achievement and interviewed Lombardo. The platform was thankful to the artist and said that this song is a prime example of the boundary-pushing content that SoundCloud is known for.

By the end of Year 2-17, the track count was 170 million, which means that 30 million tracks were uploaded to the service in 2018 and early 2019. During the interview, the artist Lombardo said:
I’ve worked hard to keep a steady release of music over the years, across other labels and my own, as I always want my fans to come back to something new. “SoundCloud is also a great place to archive my mixes, radio shows and remixes that have happened over the years, which I think gives a good representation of how I have evolved and what I do as an artist across my various projects.”
More over, SoundCloud is adding distribution to its self-monetization Premier program to empower its users and help them monetize their music with SoundCloud Premier. Users who are eligible in the open beta will now be able to self-upload, monetize, and publish their songs with the help of this a digital distribution service to other streaming platforms such as Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Instagram and more so producers without any fee, all from within SoundCloud.
