Apple to Inaugurate $5 Billion Spaceship Campus in April

Apple revealed that its $5 billion will be free for its employees. The tech giant revealed that around 6 months more than 12,000 workers will shift to new campus. This beautiful campus set on cover 175 acre site. Apple to Inaugurate $5 Billion Spaceship Campus in April.

The iPhone makers has already named the park as Apple Park. The round shape of park adds to it’s beauty. The company has told that the construction main building and surrounding parkland will continue for few months.

The work on Apple Park was initiated back in 2013. Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, announced that Apple is planning to shift first group of employees to its new campus. This spaceship campus will have 1000 seat auditorium. The name of auditorium will be “Steve Jobs Theater”. The auditorium will be inaugurated within few months. Steve Jobs theater is on a hill providing excellent view of the rest campus. Metallic Carbon fiber roof ads to the beauty of this auditorium.

Apple’s CEO Cook said:

Steve’s vision for Apple stretched far beyond his time with us. We’ve achieved one of the most energy-efficient buildings in the world and the campus will run entirely on renewable energy.

According to Apple’s chief design officer, Steve invested so much of his energy creating and supporting the creative environment of Park.

Features of Apple Park:

  • A visitor’s center with an Apple Store and a café that are open to the public
  • A 100,000-square-foot fitness center
  • Secure research-and-development facilities
  • 2 miles of walking and running tracks
  • An orchard, a meadow, and a pond

Apple officials are working hard on design, engineering and other particulars of new campus with enthusiasm and design principles. By connecting such extraordinary advanced buildings and rolling out Park land will create a collaborative environment for staff to work together.
