Spotify Reaches 100 million Premium Subscribers Worldwide

Spotify, the streaming music service, has released that it now has 100 Million premium subscribers. In total, the streaming service has 217 million users, 117 million of which are enjoying the free, ad-supported tier.

Although the company has now more paid users. However, the company lost about €142 million in Q1 2019, which is in contrast to December’s €442 million in profit. At least it’s less than last year’s Q1 when Spotify lost €169 million.

Just recently, Spotify Launches Standalone App For Apple Watch. Apple Watch users will get this in their wearable device over the coming weeks. After a short testing period, Spotify’s new app for Apple Watch should offer users the ability to seamlessly access and control music and podcasts on the go.
