Starbucks set to Start Coffee Delivery in China With Alibaba
Starbucks is going to join the forces with Alibaba Group to start delivering its drinks, shakes and baked items in China. It will increase the sales in the country plus it will provide jobs to many people. Starbucks Delivery in China is a good way to increase revenue and profit plus Starbucks will be a tough competitor for other coffee shops in China.
As everyone knows Alibaba has a mail delivery service, “Ele.me”. It will handle the all logistics and delivery system in China. This news was announced on Thursday but it was not confirmed. So, it is publically confirmed now. Starbucks last week said it was a plan to start deliveries with a partner this fall in Beijing and Shanghai.

The Chief Executive of Starbucks China Said:
“While recent coffee market entrants have chosen to capitalize on delivery combined with heavily discounted offers, there are significant compromises at play in terms of quality, experience, and business sustainability,” Wong said in an earnings call with analysts. She added, “Let me assure you that our new delivery service will adhere to the high standards our customers in China have come to expect with regard to the Starbucks experience.”
