Some notables from the list of upcoming reveals include improved Nexus 7 tablets (one boasting 3G connectivity), a 10-inch Nexus tablet and a new Nexus reference phone from LG.
Google will release a 32GB variant of the Nexus 7. However, our source also tells us that there will be a second 32GB variant that will offer HSPA+ (3G) support, allowing users to take the tablet on their travels.
Not only is the long-awaited 32GB version of the Asus-made and Google co-branded Nexus 7 expected to launch, but a 3G variant with HSPA+ is also due, with both surely sporting Android OS 4.2, just in time to fight back against 3G and 4G-equipped iPad Minis and the Surface Tablet which only comes in a Wi-Fi model and has no 3G/4G version as yet, at all.
There’s also a report that Samsung will produce a new 10-inch Nexus tablet for Google, running Android 4.2 and boasting a 2560×1600 display, with an iPad Retina display-beating pixel density of around 300ppi, according to TNW.
Next up in the co-branding stakes is Samsung, which is expected to make the first Google Nexus 10-inch tablet, with a screen resolution and PPI or pixels-per-inch of 2560×1600 pixels at 299 or 300 PPI, which is higher than the new iPad (3) resolution of 2048×1536 and 264 PPI, giving an Android device yet another iDevice-besting feature, albeit without any iron-clad guarantee of that feature delivering iDevice-beating sales.
