Tecno Launches Camon Slim with Mondrian Design; Pakistan Arrival Expected Soon

Tecno has officially launched the Camon Slim globally, introducing a design-focused smartphone with a Mondrian-inspired back panel, a rear matrix LED display, and a slim 6.39mm body. The phone is expected to arrive in Pakistan soon, although the company has not yet confirmed its official local launch date or price.

The Camon Slim brings back Tecno’s Mondrian-style design language, previously seen on the Camon 19 Pro series. However, this time the design has been updated with a sunlight-reactive finish. Under normal lighting, the back panel appears clean and simple, but when exposed to ultraviolet light or sunlight, it reveals yellow, green, and cyan color blocks.

The phone also includes a rear matrix LED panel placed between the camera lenses. According to the available details, the panel uses 354 LEDs and can show different visual effects and alerts. Tecno has also added RGB rings around the camera area, giving the Camon Slim a more distinctive look compared to many regular 4G phones in the market.

Despite its slim profile, the Camon Slim carries a 5,600mAh battery with 60W fast charging support. This is an important point because slim phones often compromise battery capacity, but Tecno appears to have kept the device practical for daily use.

On the front, the Camon Slim features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. This makes the phone suitable for users who watch videos, scroll social media, play casual games, and prefer a smoother display experience.

For photography, the device comes with a 50MP Lytia 600 main camera on the back. The second rear lens appears to be an auxiliary sensor, while the front side includes a 32MP selfie camera.

The launched version of the Camon Slim is a 4G smartphone, despite earlier expectations that it could arrive as a 5G model. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset and comes with 8GB RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB variants.

For the Pakistani market, the Camon Slim could become an interesting option for buyers who want a stylish mid-range phone with a standout design, AMOLED display, large battery, and fast charging. Tecno already has a strong presence in Pakistan’s budget and mid-range smartphone categories, and the Camon Slim may target users who value design and entertainment features.

However, its 4G-only positioning could become a key talking point, especially as more buyers are now looking for future-ready smartphones. While 5G services are still not widely available in Pakistan, many users still prefer 5G support when buying a new phone in the mid-range segment.

Tecno has not announced the official price of the Camon Slim for Pakistan yet. Based on its specifications and expected market positioning, the phone may arrive in Pakistan in the coming weeks if included in Tecno’s local launch plan.

The expected price in Pakistan could fall around Rs 59,999 to Rs 69,999, depending on the storage variant, taxes, and official availability. The 8GB/128GB model may sit closer to the lower end of the range, while the 8GB/256GB version could be priced higher.

If Tecno keeps the price competitive, the Camon Slim could appeal to users looking for a slim 4G phone with a premium-looking AMOLED display, a unique rear design, decent battery capacity, and fast charging. Its final impact in Pakistan will depend on official pricing, launch timing, and how buyers respond to a 4G device in this expected price bracket.
