Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G Spotted With Dimensity 7300; Expected Price and Launch Timeline in Pakistan

Tecno appears to be preparing another addition to its Pova 8 lineup, as the upcoming Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G has surfaced on the Google Play Console with key hardware details and a first look at its front design.

The listing comes shortly after Tecno introduced the standard Pova 8, suggesting that the Pro variant may also be nearing its official launch. While the company has yet to formally announce the Pova 8 Pro 5G, its appearance on Google’s database usually indicates that the device is moving closer to release.

According to the Google Play Console listing, the phone carries the model number Tecno LK7. The image attached to the listing appears to show a real-life front view of the device rather than a marketing render. It reveals a punch-hole display and what looks like an additional side button, which could be linked to Tecno’s AI-focused shortcut feature seen on some of its recent phones.

The most important detail from the listing is the chipset. The Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. This places the device in the lower mid-range 5G category and should make it capable enough for gaming, multitasking, social media use, and daily performance needs.

The Dimensity 7300 is listed with a peak clock speed of 2.5GHz, paired with a Mali-G615 GPU. The Google Play Console listing also points to 12GB RAM, which would give the phone a strong performance profile in its expected price segment.

Another major highlight is the display resolution. The Pova 8 Pro 5G is listed with a 1208 x 2644 pixel resolution, which points toward a sharp 1.5K screen. Given Tecno’s recent direction with the Pova series, the Pro model may feature an AMOLED panel, although the company has not officially confirmed the display type yet.

On the software side, the phone is expected to run Android 16 with Tecno’s HiOS 16 skin. Since the standard Pova 8 also arrived with Android 16, the Pro model is likely to follow the same software direction.

Previous certifications have also hinted at the phone’s design and hardware profile. The Pova 8 Pro 5G is expected to be at least 8mm thick, and one of its variants may offer up to 512GB internal storage. The handset is also tipped to pack a 6,500mAh battery, which would make battery life one of its strongest selling points.

Expected Price and Launch Timeline in Pakistan

Tecno has not yet confirmed the official Pakistan launch date or price of the Pova 8 Pro 5G. However, based on predecessor pricing and current market expectations, the phone is likely to arrive in Pakistan after the standard Pova 8 makes its local debut.

The standard Tecno Pova 8 is currently expected in Pakistan at around Rs. 69,999, with an expected launch timeline in early July 2026. Since the Pova 8 Pro 5G is expected to bring a stronger chipset, higher RAM, better display resolution, and a larger storage option, it will likely sit above the standard model in Tecno’s local lineup.

Based on current expected-price listings and the Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G’s previous positioning, the Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G price in Pakistan may fall between Rs. 85,000 and Rs. 95,000, depending on the final RAM and storage configuration.

If the global launch takes place soon, Pakistan could receive the Pova 8 Pro 5G in July or August 2026, although the final timeline will depend on Tecno Pakistan’s official launch schedule.
