When it comes to technology programs or IT startups, Telenor Group is the only mobile operator that supports the youngsters through its worth praising initiatives.
Digital Winners is one such initiative that motivates the tech professionals across Asia. Digital Winners is a conference that gathers the internet startups and investors to network, internet ecosystem and share and discuss ideas. It offers award for “Best Asian App” at the end of summit that are selected through regional competitions in DiGi, dtac, Grameenphone, Telenor Pakistan, Uninor and Telenor Myanmar.

Telenor’s Digital Winners event for 2016 will be held on 1-2 November while gathering the top start-ups from all Telenor Accelerator programs. The startups will talk about how to introduce technological innovations across Asia and make this region a prosperous place to live in.
Telenor Digital is the fundamental driver behind this Digital Winners conference. In 2 days conference, almost 45+ speakers shares innovative and thought provoking ideas on technology and digital business scope.

Telenor should not be allowed to operate or important electronic infrastructure in Asia. Telenor Group uses these contests to gain goodwill to penetrate the Asian markets. Telenor majority owner is the Government of Norway. Norway is used by US as a proxy. Norway’s foreign minister Børge Brende has for example made insulting remarks about Thailand and tried to interfere with Thai domestic politics. Norway even posted insults on the Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok website. Norway has through their large shareholdings in DTAC interfered in Thai politics and openly supported one political party. DTAC has applied to buy a 4G license. Remains to be seen if Thailand would allow DTAC to buy the 4G license with Telenor as a large owner. Telenor also supported the Dhammakaya Temple were there were fugitives with outstanding warrants. Asian countries should not allow Telenor who has a history of supporting the US manipulation/destabilizing of Asian countries.
