Telenor Invites Applications for Second Batch of its Velocity Program

In continuation of its efforts to enrich entrepreneurial ecosystem in the country, Telenor Invites Applications for Second Batch of its Velocity Program. The first cohort of Telenor Velocty is already in progress and will end on September, 2016. Now the operator has invited applications for its second cohort.

This time, Telenor Pakistan is expecting to induct almost 10 startups; whereas in first batch it enrolled to five startups.

Telenor Velocity Looks for:

This time as well, Telenor is looking for stellar startup companies with innovative products or services. If you’ve got something exciting and want to go-to market, scale, and grow, apply to us! In simple words, you need to be a passionate team and have a promising product or service.

Selection Criteria of Telenor Velocity:

You must fulfill following Criteria:

• Your team should have a hipster, a hustler, and a hacker.
• Your product or service should be at a minimum viable product stage.
• You should be able to clearly demonstrate the investment potential in your product or service.

Launched in February 2016, Telenor Velocity focuses on making the Telenor’s scale and superior assets to supercharge promising Pakistani startups. It’s a 6-month, program that covers all aspects necessary for startups to survive, compete, and scale. The shortlisted startups get the opportunity to enjoy Telenor’s in-house expertise, physical and digital distribution channels, payment solutions, market intelligence, and access to customers to throw their product in the market for growth and overcome the barriers holding back their business.
