Telenor unveils smart ZOOM having basic specifications and specially design for those customer who wants to use 3G enabled smartphone. Telenor Smart Zoom review include all details, specifications and price comparisons which purely based on our tests and experience. The shape and design is just same as Telenor smart Max but the specification is main difference between them.

Let’s have some words about its specification, Telenor Smart Zoom is equipped with 1.3 GHz quad core processor paired with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal storage/ ROM. The 4.0” WVGA touch capacitive screen on the front has smooth touch. All thanks to Android 5.1 Lollipop to support the multitasking to allow us for running multiple apps. Telenor Smart Zoom is packed with 1600 mAh battery to promises to keep your mobile live for long time but we’ll briefly discuss the battery time of smartphone on based of our lab tests.

Cons:

• No focus option available in camera Application
• Battery timing is less if 3G service usually invokes for browsing, calling etc.
• Camera is not upto the mark; in fact the image quality is not that much better as it could have been.

Display of Telenor Smart ZOOM:

Well, Telenor Smart Zoom is posed with 4.0” WVGA display with (480 x 800) pixel resolution, all good for 240 dpi. It has viewing angle issue due to high brightness factor as well low resolution display is employed. There is no light sensor has embedded on the front that’s why the display brightness is not controlled automatically, you will manage the brightness by yourself.

Design of Telenor Smart ZOOM:

Telenor Smart Zoom is a twin of Telenor smart max in term of design and shape as we have all mentioned in intro that is lighter version of Telenor smart max due to lower specifications. The dimension is measured to be (125 x 63 x 100) mm, the difference between the twin devices are dimension and weight. Telenor Smart Zoom is almost 30 grams lighter than smart Max.

 

There is thick bezel around the screen which gives decent shape to smartphone, the whole body of smartphone is made of poly carbonate plastic, the frame of smart zoom  got shiny metallic color, give the look of metal frame.

Processor of Telenor Smart ZOOM:

Telenor Smart Zoom is equipped with Spreadtrum SC7731, 1.3 GHz Quad core chipset. The processor is an average performing processor that is usually embedded in entry level smartphones and gives good performance. The main memory is just 512 MB which itself cannot carry much data, so processing will be a bit slow as in case of running multiple apps.

Memory for Telenor Smart ZOOM:

From the memory section, Telenor Smart ZOOM is packed with 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM while the internal storage can be expanded upto 32 GB via MicroSD card. Although the main memory is less than the required because nowadays the social media apps are too heavy to run on 512MB RAM, you will feel lags if more than one app runs on mobile.

Camera of Telenor Smart ZOOM:

Telenor Smart Zoom has 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and 3 MP front camera, both cameras doesn’t has autofocus feature which is main drawback which itself a big issue. The camera App gives full access to play with camera by providing several setting options.

Rear Camera of Telenor Smart ZOOM :

The rear of the Telenor Smart Zoom is 5 MP with LED flash, however the image quality is fair; well a bit noisy due to small pixel size. The resolution of lens is 5MP Pixels with native 4:3 ratio. The camera is capable of making 720px HD videos with fair result.

Front Camera of Telenor Smart ZOOM:

The front camera is said to be 3 MP pixel and place on top portion of front. The camera is unfortunately not as good as it need to be, I mean the other brand with same Megapixels has good image quality as compare to the given camera’s quality.

Network/ Connectivity of Telenor Smart ZOOM:

Telenor Smart Zoom is a Dual SIM 3G enabled smartphone. Following are the frequency bands for Telenor Smart Zoom. Smart Zoom is a dual SIM supporting device.

Battery Performance of Telenor Smart ZOOM:

Telenor Smart Zoom packs with 1600 mAh battery that has pretty decent battery timing, it can last 3 to 4 on standby once it is fully charged, the average use of smartphone like using messaging app and GSM calls except using 3G services, it can go for whole single day. Using 3G network, the battery bar goes down at high speed.

The smartphone share same design with Telenor Smart Max, it has plastic body, the frame has shiny metallic color that gives the feel of metal, and the back cover is removable and underneath area is for battery and SIM insertion.

Telenor Smart Zoom and Smart Max share the same skin over Android Lollipop 5.1, which  is simple and user friendly, the android smartphone users will be quite familiar with its interface. Telenor Smart Zoom has been good in Antutu Test as it got fairly good points i.e. 18K+. Normally a low-specs smartphone manages to get below 20K points, so don’t be judgmental with points. The screen test shows Telenor Smart Zoom supports 2-point Multitouch.

 

Vellamo Benchmarking for Telenor Smart ZOOM:

Vellamo benchmark score of Telenor Smart Zoom is fair and acceptable. The Multicore test score is 1223, which is not much admirable. Similarly the single core test’s score is 654 points.
