TelloTalk’s Seed Round takes attention of International Investors

Pakistan joined the bandwagon in the digital world by launching its first messaging app Tellotalk on Google’s PlayStore and Apple’s App store, in 2017. After gaining much attention from across the world, the company issued a press release that shared details of financial that had been provided through domestic and international investors. The funding summed up to $1.6 million in its ‘Seed Round’ that included global venture funds. This investment is said to be the first investment in Pakistan by many of the international bidders that had participated in this funding round.

This app appears to be more promising for its consumers in Pakistan as the co-founder and CEO Shahbaz Jamote states it as fully committed to Pakistan with all technology and infrastructure present within the premises. The funds being collected are also for the purpose of deployment within Pakistan, in the areas of marketing, advertising, infrastructure and product development. The CEO marketizes the app by adding attraction through its pro regional and local category of content. From its outlook and free download, all has been assembled keeping common user in mind.

TelloTalk is a positive initiative by the digital world that visions to achieve higher outcomes. The Chairman Arshad Ashraf in his remarks mentioned TelloTalk as a national need to have a social networking platform, created and owned by Pakistani’s. He showed his interest of digitizing the economy of Pakistan and exploring the creative minds of the talented youth through this app.
