The Samsung Galaxy Note10 to Come with 3D ToF Sensor

Everyone is waiting for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note10 anxiously. Only a few days are left as we will get to see it on July 7. Now according to the latest report by a Korean publication, the phone will have 3D Time of Flight sensors. Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will also come with ToF sensors on the front and on the back, while Samsung Galaxy A80 also packed with 3D Time of Flight sensors as part of the flip-up camera. These sensors work great in order to render bokeh, for AR applications and face recognition.

South Korean lens maker KOLEN has partnered with Samsung and is investing $21.6 million to build a new plant in Vietnam. That will increase its production capacity from 13 million to 25 million lenses. The location was chosen because of its partnership with Samsung, which manufactures more than half of its phones in the country.

However, we are not sure whether 3D Time of Flight sensors will come in Samsung Galaxy Note10+ or not. According to some rumors, there will be two ToF modules on the phone, on the front, and on the back just like the Galaxy S10 5G. Current renders and leaked screen protectors are showing only a small circular hole, that’s why it is not clear how it will be functional with the design of the punch hole.

Some previous reports are also suggesting that Samsung Galaxy Note10 will not have Bixby button. The phone will have two versions, one will be 4G and other will be 5G.
