There is Need to Introduce New Digital Projects in Schools: Dr. Tariq Fazal

Addressing the Jazz Smart School Programme launching ceremony, Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry stressed the need to introduce new digital based projects in schools for development of education during a special ceremony. The ‘Jazz Smart School’ programme introduces a smart learning solution to the traditional schooling system through a digital learning platform at local hotel. Under its ‘Jazz Smart School’ programme, Jazz Foundation aims to use innovation in imparting education to 75 schools in the federal capital. The Jazz Foundation supports projects focus on four main areas including Education, Health, Environment and Disaster Relief.

Smart learning is going to be launched in partnership with the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) and the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE). For the implementation of this digital learning solution Jazz has teamed up with a Singapore based learning solutions company, Knowledge Platform.

Addressing the Jazz Smart School Programme launching ceremony Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, said:

Government understands the challenges, we face while trying to achieve this goal. However, initiatives such as the Jazz Smart School Program and an increasing future emphasis on public-private partnership will surely propel us toward a brighter future for Pakistan. Government is committed to bring improvement in educational institutions under Prime Minister Education Reform’s agenda. Government is also working to facilitate educational institutions with modern facilities including computers and Labs. Special computer lab project was also introduced to equip students with modern technology and digital learning.

Minister thanked and appreciated Jazz Smart School Programme administration for initiating the project to facilitate students and specially female students.
