These Xiaomi Devices will Get Updated to MIUI 9. The Chinese Company, Xiaomi, has announced the list of 40 devices which will get MIUI 9 update. MIUI 9 runs on top of Android 7.0 Nougat. Popular devices of Xiaomi are on the list, some also dates back to 2012.

Software updates are very important as they not only bring new features and security encryption but also fix bugs. Tough Cheaper devices provide you with all the latest features and specifications at good price but they usually don’t receive much updates like other flagship devices.

Hats off to Xiaomi – it supports its devices for a long time. MIUI 9 is heavily customized that’s why it is still based on Android 7.0 Nougat which is a 17 month old version of Android.
May be MIUI will not be able to fascinate pure Android fans but its is a very loyal move by Xiaomi who even remembered its old device to get updated.
