Ride-hailing services Uber and Careem need some serious precautionary measures for working in a country like Pakistan. These days complaints regarding the misbehave and harassment from their drivers and captions is something very viral on the Pakistani social media. In case, the management don’t look in to the matter then chances are high that their popularity at least among women will be effected badly. One recent news of harassment becomes viral on social media when a Karachi girl (whose name is intentionally kept confidential) put her complaint on Careem’s Facebook page. This Careem Captain Lost His Job for Harassing A Girl in Karachi.
This girl clearly mentioned that she will not use Uber or Careem again in her life. Here is the screenshot for the complete story:

Interestingly, Careem team responded her in a short period of time and fired this Captain from his job.
No doubt, Careem responded on time and with responsibility too but the most important thing is that it is right time for these companies (Uber and Careem) to come up with some useful procedure or check and balance system that can avoid such incidents in future. After all, the trust factor is fundamental as far as the relationship between a customer and a company is concerned.
