Time Magazine Listed Imran Khan in 100 Most Influential People

The US time magazine has published a list of 100 most influential people of 2019, and proudly, it has also selected Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan in the list. This is not the first time that this list is released as every year times Magazine launch it but for the very first time, PM of Pakistan is able to make the country proud as previously Nawaz Shareef was listed in the most corrupt politicians.

100 Most Influential People List Comprises of Five Categories

The list also includes  US President Donald Trump, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern and Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed. The best thing that made Pakistanis more proud was the description of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s picture which read as “Imran Khan generates the broadest hope among people of an impoverished nation. He said that young and old hope that he can turn Pakistan around and help make ‘South Asia an ocean of peace rather than a state of permanent conflict.’

The list of 100 influential people compromises of five categories:

1. Pioneers
2. Leaders
3. Artists
4. Icons
5. Titans

The pioneer’s list includes comedian Hasan Minhaj, actress Sandra Oh, Chrissy Teigen, Samin Nosrat. In the lists of artists, two games of Thrones stars Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Richard Madden (Robb Stark) were also present. Singer Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, former US first lady Michelle Obama, and Rappler founder Maria Ressa made to Icons list.
