The Magic Pony team has 11 PhDs, with their ability ranging beyond computer vision, computational neuroscience, and deep learning.

“Online video-streaming businesses rely heavily on video compression.”

Magic Pony’s co-founder Rob Bishop informed MIT Technology Review in April.

“Our first product demonstrates that image quality can be greatly enhanced using deep learning, and fast mobile GPUs now allow us to deploy it anywhere.”

The startup’s deep learning contrivance learn what high-resolution patterns and landscapes appear by automatically scanning and designating sample representation.

Bishop also revealed that Magic Pony’s computer vision merchandises can fill in the blanks in videos just the way Photoshop’s auto-fill tool does. It can enhance the image quality of pictures taken on low-resolution cameras as well.

The startup revealed in its own announcement that:

“The Magic Pony unit would set out as the European home base for Twitter’s machine learning attempts, and that with the social media firm it wants to immensely spur our estimate of research.”
