Twitter Launches 360-Degree Live Streaming via Periscope

Social media giant Twitter has joined Facebook, Youtube and other firms by offering live video streaming on periscope. As this feature is only available to limited partners up to now, so it is expected that Twitter will start to roll out this tool as previously we have seen that live streaming on Facebook is getting extremely popular. The quality of video isn’t too good but most 360-degree videos are just of average quality.

Twitter is planning to release other new projects in year 2017. This year was very challenging for twitter as it was subjected to some major acquisition. Twitter has tried a-lot to pave new paths in order to grow and has incrementally added new products and features.

With this feature of Live 360 video,users can capture almost everything that is going on in surroundings. The implementation is very typical. If you are using Twitter on desktop, you can click and drag around on the screen to rotate the camera. On mobile, you can twist and turn your phone to change your perspective.

It is expected that this new 360-degree video feature will not have any good effects on Twitter shares, which went $1.32 percent less than the previous session at $16.39.
