Keeping in view the ease for its users, Twitter introduces Lite version for faster mobile services back in April. Then in September, the lite version was available in Philippines. Now Twitter Lite App is Available in 24 More Countries. So, now more users can use this app and surely it will help users to minimize the data usage.

These countries include, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, Israel, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Malaysia, Nigeria, Nepal, Panama, Peru, Serbia, El Salvador, South Africa, Thailand, Tunisia, Tanzania, and Venezuela.

According to Twitter, if you are using Twitter Lite on the mobile web or through the Google Play Store, it’s fast, takes up less space, and is data-friendly:

• Loads quickly on 2G and 3G networks, and offers offline support in case you temporarily lose your connection
• Minimizes data usage, and offers a data saver mode to download only the images or videos you want to see
• Reduces install size to under 3MB so it doesn’t take much room on your phone

So we can say that Twitter took very time to introduce the data-friendly lite version. It loads quickly on slower connections, minimizes data usage, and takes up less than 1 MB on your device.
