Unfair Allegations are Totally Unjustified: Ken Hu, Huawei

The unfair allegations on Huawei not only jolted the Huawei’s consumers but in fact the whole mobile industry. It will definitely bring a great deal of harm to Huawei’s consumers and businesses in Europe, as Huawei is sharing almost 20% of the market.

On 23 May 2019 at the Potsdam Conference on National Cybersecurity (Germany), Ken Hu, Deputy Chairman, Huawei, delivered a speech. In the speech, he gave his remarks on the ongoing issue, the unfair ban facing by Huawei.

Unfair allegations are Against the International Business Community Values

He highlighted the issue and said that the restrictions, based on ungrounded allegations, have been imposed on Huawei just to buckle our business operations drastically. The current behavior of the US is totally unfair and unjustified.

According to Ken Hu, the ostensibly unfair allegations are against the international business community values. This is going to disrupt fair competition in the market. He further said that there is a need to confront these issues jointly because, in the future, this could happen to any other industry and company.

He further mentioned in his speech,

We don’t want to see another wall and we don’t want to go through another painful experience.  Equally, we don’t want to build a new wall in terms of trade, we don’t want to build a new wall in terms of technology either.

He emphasized in his speech that we need an integrated global ecosystem for the promotion of faster technological innovation and stronger economic growth. We really need to rely on it to maintain prosperity for human society.
