This world of internet is a blessing for us however with the advancements we have also come across new Islamic Fatwas associated with them. In this era of social media, you will find good or senseless fatwas on and off. Such as checking your husband phone is haram or watching football is harm. So now we have come across a new fatwa which reveals that we all have committed a sin once in our lifetime. So if you are using someone’s WiFi without asking them, you have committed a huge sin according to the new Fatwa in the market.

New Islamic Fatwa in Town Reveals something Shocking

On a serious note, the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities (IACAD), have announced that using someone’s WiFi without their consent or permission is Haram.

IACAD, while releasing the Fatwa, said that:

“It is not allowed for people to use what belongs to others without payment or without their permission. Therefore, the Internet should be used only after subscribing to the service,”

While reading this, I was thinking of what made this department release such fatwa. So, I came to know that it all started when someone asked on a website of the department that whether it’s allowed to use someone’s WiFi without their permission.

Will you use Someone else WiFi Now?

After this Fatwa went viral on social media, an Ad on a local newspaper was also printed:

This is not the first time we have come across such fatwa, Grand Mufti of Egypt had passed Fatwa that  Buying Likes on Facebook is Forbidden in Islam.

What do you think is this Fatwa right or senseless?
